Happy 19th yesterday, Julia Katherine!
As you can see, you were surrounded in love from the day you were born. You were even given the honor of being placed in the center of the bed next to the beloved Hopscotch. I'm not sure who or what is being hugged by Lindsay, but you were front and center. You were always included in the family fun. That's why you have so much to offer in return, Julia! Look at that happy smile of contentment. As I said yesterday, I am glad you were born. (like no one knew that!) And as you can see, so were your brother and sister! We love you!
YOU'RE THE BEST!

Someone is Celebrating in Heaven
Happy Birthday, Mom! We will always love you, and never, ever forget you. What a day to have a birthday, when the men landed on the moon for the first time. July 20, 1969. What a thrill it was for you. You are on our minds and in our hearts especially today, and every day. Such an inspiration you have been to all of us. Rest in peace.

"It's the 24 year old Birthday Boy or Girl!"
There you are with that mischievous look, after snatching your favorite Christmas ornament off the tree. You would take that bear, and snap off the arms and legs. Then when we would catch you, you would be so proud that you had played a trick on us. Happy birthday, Buddy! You still catch us off guard, and make us laugh! And so proud. We love you!

Madame President
Okay, you could see here in her eyes that she was determined to keep plugging until she found her niche, and she was well on the way at the end of high school. Once at Point, she decided all on her own to pursue the student government/resident avenue, and was recognized for her leadership. And now, she beat out the incumbent (a junior) to be elected President of Hansen Hall!! (I'm sure the cookies and flyers didn't hurt, either!) Mr. Hansen would be so pleased to see that the one that organized his birthday party would go on the lead his namesake dorm! Julia, I have a feeling that you will continue to surprise us with your amazing persistence and strength. Way to go, your presidentness! Now we have 2 dorm presidents from UWSP in the family! (No, it's not Ron, it's someone else who went to Point) Hmmmmm..........
