Man, those pitures look like so much fun. I am really bummed that I wasn't there. We're such a big group that it's hard to plan new things to do. We all set aside the time to go to Door County and see performances and do Christmas and Easter and Thanksgiving, but going to a game was a great idea that was really different. Applause to whoever came up with the idea! Too bad I missed it.

I'd love to host everyone sometime, if folks were willing to trek down to Chicago; the weather would have to be nice enough to be outside because of our tiny rooms. Even the outside would be crowded.

Anyway, love you all and I'm sorry I couldn't be there on Monday. Glad you had such a good time!

Great News

Hello family!!!

It's been awhile... (sorry!)

Well, good news for everyone. I HAVE A JOB!!! I started on the 7th of this month at Assurant which is downtown Milwaukee. I am the Tax Assistant with lots and lots of crazy responsibilities. I am a bit stressed out as overwhelmed but slowly adjusting to this new position. Otherwise I am just thankful that I was able to find a job.

But time sure does seem to fly...everyone's busy and summer has been teasing us with some beautiful weather. Looking forward to traveling and enjoying summer.

May 16, 2007, the day that Julia passed her driver's test. Hurray! We are so excited for her. Right at this very moment, she is driving alone for the first time. She's off to Walgreen's and then to Halversons to pick up a tape to watch. I am handling myself quite well, considering my neurotic self. She did very well on her test, which is so encouraging. Just look at that face. Could she be more proud? Only about 10 minutes ago, as I watched her drive down the driveway with an even wider grin!!! We are so proud of her!

OK, last ones. . . They're just so cute and happy!

Where Dreams Come True...

It's hard to pass up a chance to fly for free, and stay for free in Orlando Florida...so the kids and I traveled to Florida and spent a day lounging/swimming with the Klossowski's at their condo...then a day at the Disney's Magic Kingdom and a day at Disney-MGM Studios... Where your dreams come true...(Unless you're dreaming of short lines and cheap prices!!)

Major Bummer!

Don, Julia, and I are all signed up to do the Riveredge Ride on June 24, and I was excited because I hadn't done it in 3 or 4 years. Well, dammit, the reason that I haven't done it in 3 or 4 years, is because that Sunday is VBS Sunday at church!!! It is my favorite ride, and we are so disappointed, as is Don. Is there anyone who would like to go on a beautiful 40 mile ride on Sunday the 24th of June? It is a great ride that ends at the Riveredge Nature Center at Newburg, WI, where they have music and food and lots of beautiful naturey stuff. Better yet, who can direct the music for the service at Wauwatosa Pres. Church while we go on our ride?!! Anyone interested, please let us know.
