I tried something new this year, hoping to help the children remember which colors mixed together make which new colors. First I did 1. RED - then 2. YELLOW - then 3. ORANGE (mixing the two) Then I did 4. BLUE and then mixing it with yellow- 5. GREEN. Then mixing blue and red - 6. PURPLE
So, there actually was a method to the madness. I know - I can barely look at the "out of order" mess myself. Apparently it's true - some things are just well, sacrilegious (and by the way, the correct spelling of that word makes no sense- sacrEd - rElIgious)
I'm DEFINITELY going back to normal rainbow order next year. It's just not nice to mess with Mother Nature.
