I never thought you could get that buff from lifting milk jugs! Well, as they say, "slow and steady wins the race!" And you did win, Jess. We are so proud of the efforts that you did, from creating the theme, to organizing the combos, to the minute details. It was a masterful performance,Jesse. Not to mention a heck of a good time! Thank you for all the hard work.
Yes Jesse, it was just so wonderful. We enjoyed all of it and we were so very proud of you! What a strong, rich and beautiful voice you have. And you were SO well prepared and knew just what you wanted from each song and from the other performers etc. I could tell from the moment you walked on stage that you COULDN'T WAIT to get up there. . . a true performer. I wish that it all could have gone on and on (always leave them wanting more, right?).
We have enjoyed watching Ron's video clips VERY much, (surprisingly good sound for that little camera), but we look forward to sitting down with you and watching the whole thing. I will especially love hearing the Rachmaninoff again (it was arranged SO well!) because it was so well sung and such an interesting "take" on that beautiful piece. I just loved it.
I do believe that seeing this poster (and snatching it up) was one of the funniest moments of the day for me. This poster is hilarious! After I scanned it for the blog, I put it on our refrigerator and I laugh every time I look at it - (unfortunately quite often - it's that damn Amish bread - those Amish can really be a problem)
Much love and enjoy the warmth of the "after" glow for as long as you can possibly hold onto it. You deserve it. Well done dear nephew!
And to Joannie and Don:
Thank you so very much for a wonderful and delicious buffet and SUPPER! That really was some of the best pizza I've had in years. And the reception couldn't have been nicer. Well planned and executed. I sure hope that you are all basking in the glow of such a wonderful day, provided by you and your talented and accomplished son. It was all fantastic!
