I Posted this as a comment too, because it took SO LONG to download the BLOG thing. AS SOON AS I POSTED THE COMMENT, it was done though. OF COURSE.
Hi Everyone,
I got to connect with Leslie and Nadja and Hannah on State St. yesterday! What fun kids with wonderful friends too. I had a great time AND I finally got to pick up my campaign lawn signs. I also had a happy/strange/nostalgic memory of the time Joannie and I strolled down State Street buying WIGS! And it WASN'T for Halloween!

Sillly Debbie! I thought also about our trip on State Street, and how much fun we had buying those wigs. I believe it also was the time that we hooked up with Betsy Tarlin? It is a distant memory, for sure. I also bought some earrings that were hand made. I remember wearing that wig to work,(GAF Cook Photo?)and getting lots of compliments! My hair was very long at the time, and the wig was real short. Crazy!

Thanks again, Deboe! You really made the extra effort and Leslie was thrilled to see you. She also was thrilled with Madison and State Street. "Mom, they had all these really neat stores...like hippie stores!" And I said, "Really????...In Madison?" She came home with two anti war buttons. It was a great day, and yes I wondered why she didn't take a picture of all of you. Oh well. All in all, a memorable day for everyone! Bye now.

Oh I am so glad you all hooked up. Life is made up of momement memories of those special times when we make the extra effort to get together. I'm glad you all had fun.
Oh and Leslie, Madison is a really fun place. It truly is a place where all are welcome (except perhaps Republicans), and state street is especially fun. (especially on Halloween...or has that been cancelled.)
