  • Congratulations, you two!!! You have created a wonderful life and family, and we are so glad that Debbie got so lucky as to "snag" Ronnie!!!! Kidding of course, Deebs!! We love you both very much! Wow, 35 years! Yikes! It's almost impossible to believe. Seems like only yesterday, plus a few thousand more, that many of us were there, sending you off into wedded bliss..........of your own free will!

  • A big hearty congrats!! Wow, that's a long time. You two are such a cute pair...a match made in heaven! Have a great day reminiscing and don't forget to watch the movie of Johnny pouring rice down Freddie's shirt! I always loved that part, sorry Freddie!

  • You guys are all so sweet. We did have a day, but not a great one. Sadly we spent the evening at Ron's "Buddy's" (Don Hunt - the artist/potter) funeral/memorial service. It was beautiful of course. He was a wonderful man who as Ronnie said, "gave while planning new ways to give". The service was at Bethel Lutheran, a huge downtown church and it was PACKED. He started so many organizations and schools of art that they left out MANY in the "rememberances". Like Mr. Rogers, a long legacy but impossible to replace. When asked what kind of a Christian he was, he replied "Some evangelists just want you to join their club - I hope you find your God". When asked what advice he could give to those of us who are harboring some anger at God for this awful brain tumor which took his life, Don replied, "Chill" Did that get a laugh! (and it did help me)

Again thanks for all the kind words. Joannie was there when we met "Freddie". So glad that she was, for it made me a little braver/more outgoing etc. to have a sister there. I'm always a little stronger with my family around. But Geez, 35 years! Does this mean we're almost middle aged now? No wait - I think we're old? NAH! Haven't changed a bit.

    Love ya all,
    Deboe
