Talk amongst ourselves

Don found out yesterday that his entire division is moving to the Franklin campus in 2 years. It is a long way off, but it would be a huge change after working downtown, and riding his bike downtown for such a long time (26 years+) Jesse thinks the Franklin campus is so nice, but it takes a lot longer to get there, and it's not downtown! No more parking for the 4th of July, or Summerfest! ACH! He says that a lot could happen in that time, so I'm not stressing about it at this point. I'm stuck here today for the 3rd day without a car, so I can't go shopping to buy stuff for D.C. Argh! Guess I'll have to do something else that I don't want to do, like washing clothes, or paying bills or something icky. Had a nice evening last night with Julia Jesse and Katelyn. We ate tortellini in creamy garlic sauce, and fruit salad, then sat out on the deck and played UNO. Julia won. Don't ask who lost, whatever you do. Don was in charge of an outing for his division. They went on a tour of the Historical Society, and took a river cruise followed by enjoying an Australian band at Pere Marquette Park. Sounds like it was a big success. They wouldn't go home! But he was happy that it was so successful. Now we are winding down here so that we can PARTAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, that is a big future change. I would imagine that to be very difficult. Especially not biking! Long way off, though, so it's time to VACATION!!!!

  • Are you trying to "comment" to an existing post, or creating your own post that we can comment to? You might want to go to www.blogger.com to post to our family blog. When you see our blog title, there should be a "circle" for new post. Click that and you should be able to create a new post to the blog. If I am not understanding your problem then this will not help you, so nevermind. Hope that helps.

  • No, go to www.blogger.com to find the "+". I assume that you are registered since you entered a blog somewhere.

  • Thanks to Joannie I learned that you can also hit "blog this" at the top of the website to enter a post. Much easier than what I was doing. Have you tried that?

  • I always click on "I Power Blogger" button on the right. Then I click on the plus sign next to "talk amongst yourselves." Deboe, perhaps we are going to have to come visit you and your computer.

  • Deboe, I checked on Blogger.com, and you
    now have your own blog! Up at the top of our blog, where it says, Search all blogs, type in DebbieJeanLimon, and you will see your own adorable self! At least you can post until you get this straightened out. By the way, I went to www.blogger.com and went to blogger help, and it has a faq(frequently asked question) and it helped me greatly. Worth a try.

  • THANKS ALL BODIES, but I give up. Betsy there is no I power blogger anywhere on my TALK AMONGST OURSELVES web page. There is no + sign anywhere on earth except on my own blog. We have been too swamped for me to ask Ron for help and I was SO CLOSE. But maybe I'll figure it out. At some point I was told to enable my cookies, so I baked some choc. chip ones but it didn't help. When I then looked it up on my computer it said that all the blogger stuff HAD been enabled. I'm not a happer camper right now. AT LEAST MY PICTURE should have shown up here. But NOOOOOOOO!

  • Whoa! Whoa! Sorry about this everyone; Debbie never accepted her invitation to join the blog, so it wasn't going to show up for her anywhere. She signed up for her own blog but wasn't going to even see the screen to post for this one until she was a member. Now I have sent her an invitation and hopefully all will be resolved.

    CALL ME NEXT TIME! I was sitting at a a computer all day and could have just send the email in no time. I'm sorry you got so stressed out, Debbie and everyone!
