Totally awesome

My turn. You can see that I developed my cheeks over time, whereas my mom had big pinchable cheekies from her first moment on this earth.

I just want to say that I am super proud of you bloggers. I was talking yesterday with one of the voice teachers at the school, who seems like she could be an aunt of mine and whom I like a lot, and she was saying that it's one of her summer goals to get better at computers. She was explaining how she's just bad at it; she didn't even know how to send an email with an attachment or download antivirus software. It's something most people learn just by doing, I think. I remember talking to my mom once and her saying that she couldn't believe that Jesse (before college even) just knew how to do certain things on the computer that she didn't understand. "How do you know how to do that?" she asked. Well, you figure it out and then you know how. I'm really proud of you all for figuring out the pictures and blogging and everything. It's just one of those things; every time you try to do something new, you learn a little more, and eventually it feels like you're doing it naturally. Way to go, Simon sisters!

  • Lindsay, you are darling!! You were the uniquiest baby ever. SOO beautiful...but that nuk!! Ugly brown thing!!! But if it kept you happy that was a good thing...because when you weren't happy...let's just say, the whole neighborhood knew, and they had to wonder if we were sticking you with needles...Love you!!!

  • Now that is one adorable Boobala Magoobala if I ever saw one! And what a dainty little pacifier. I think that it was intentionally big like that, so that it couldn't catch on stuff. Either that, or I accidentally bought an elephant pacifier by mistake! Thanks, Lindsay, for helping to set us up with this. I don't think it would have happened if we were left to our own devices. Also, when you stopped your blog, we had nothing to go to! So we(mostly Betsy) dug in and are learning as we go. I have a new appreciation for all you have written for 2 years. It is a lot of work, but it is rewarding in a different way. Have a great weekend! Julia comes home tomorrow night, and Jesse is camping with Katelyn, so tonight Dad and I are going out with the Wermuths, and then home to an empty house. Oh, by the way, I'm sorry to say that Purdy died on Tuesday. It wasn't looking too well after we got back to Green Lake, but hung on for a few days, and then went into that big aquarium in the sky(by way of the toilet) Ishy seems lonely, but I am NOT giving in and getting him a companion! This could go on forever, and 6 years is plenty long. I hope that your weekend isn't ruined by the sad news. I felt it was my duty to break it to you. Be strong.
