It wasn't Osama, it was Yassar! Just look as that face. I see Yassar, I see Osama, I see Lawrence of Arabia, I see Aladdin. And of course, those cheeks. People sell oil fields for the money to buy those cheeks!!! Yes, Deb, it's the way you describe it. I do remember you running away, then stopping to wait for me. Thank you!! Those meanie Gierhahns. Bullies! (I know, I've had my share of meanness, too)(Donald Duck pencil sharpener, hitting with brush, etc.) I must've learned it from them.
Hey...remember Lindsay's secret...spell it g*erhahns...otherwise if someone searches that name...it could come up. You are right. They are/were teasers who just won't stop!!
"I see..." Very funny...I was laughing so hard, my neighbor outside my open window had to ask me what was wrong.
I completely agree with Betsy about going back and editing any post that has any last names spelled out completely. It could come back to haunt us!!!! Or some light monster could come and eat us. Who would have thought we could get so much enjoyment from this one picture of Yassar, I mean Debbie???? I think we are having more laughs now than when we actually lived it!!
Thank you for your wise suggestions, B'ts' and 'h''s'ie! I will be more cautious. Now we will be safe. Oh, and by the way, from now on, it's 'assar, if you get my drift. We certainly don't want to be misunderstood! That also goes for D'b''e, Li''sa', J'ss' and all the others. Have a ''' day!!! (I think I'm doing it right, aren't I?)
OHHHHHH!!! Now I get it!! It's a new picture!! Just keep repeating things and they will get through to me sooner or later. Thanks Joannie, I feel much better now.
In Chrissie's defense, at first I thought that you meant that my darling Arabian picture had generated lots of comments!
Now that I do understand, THANKS Joannie! It was a real pain. But now I know that the ONLY way that I can get a picture to have its own URL # is to cycle it through Aaron's email. I have no idea why, but when it comes back it has it's own URL#! Aaron also has a Mac, so I just don't get it, but now at least I can do it.
But what I don't understand is how my cheeks helped Chrissie?
A URL means the location of something on the internet. If you have an image that is just on your computer, saved in a folder or something, it's not on the internet so it has no URL. To give it a URL, just post it online somewhere. You can put photos on the internet on sites like MySpace or Flickr or KodakPhotoShare, or even this blog, which you all do all the time! So the first thing you have to do is upload the photo you want onto some page on the internet, anywhere.
Once your image is on the internet, here is how you find the URL. Go to the site where you put the image. Right click on it. Go to "Copy Image Location." This is talking about the URL. You can also go to "Properties," which will tell you things about the picture including its location, AKA URL. Now you have the URL copied; you can paste it wherever you need it to be, like on your Blogger profile page.
You can try this right now on this website; even the little pictures of us next to these very comments have URLs, because they're on the internet! Got it?
