Everything good must come to an end....
It's been awhile since I last post something here. Life has been a bit chaotic for me lately...
And now everything good must come to an end...
I figured everyone would find out eventually so I figured I would let you all know now. Friday afternoon I was laid off due to company downsizing. It was a bit unexpected. I was most upset about the fact that I was not able to properly say good bye to my coworkers with whom I have gotten close to and considered a part of my family over the past two years. Now that I have had a day or two to think about all of this and let everything sink in, I have realized that being let go was a blessing in disguise. God can definitely work in mysterious way sometimes... I had been unhappy in my job for quite some time now...I was underpaid, had a lack of work, I felt ignored by my manager(s) and the list goes on and on. Proven Direct (the company I worked for) is having financial hardships and aren't willing to admit, so in a way I guess I am glad that I don't work there anymore... So now I have all the time in the world to work and concentrate fully on finding a new and much, much better job. So wish me lots of luck in finding a new job.
On a happier note, the weather seems to be getting warmer and more beautiful. I hope everyone is doing well.
Hugs and love to everyone!!

That is unfortunate news, especially not being able to say goodbye to your friends at work. As you said so well, although it is a big inconvenience, this may be a new start for you! I hope that you find something that is more fulfilling, and with a more solid future. Best of luck, Megan!

Sorry, Meghan, I didn't mean to spell your name wrong!

"When God closes a door...somewhere he opens a window"
(Mags & I were watching "Sound of Music" and the Rev. Mother's advice, as quoted by Maria, seems appropriate.)
I am so sorry to hear that you have to go through this. I am confident that with the experience you've gained you will have no trouble finding a new position.
Love, Betsy

Oh Meghan,
I'm so sorry to hear this news. Though I know very few people who have gone through life with just one good job, this is still pretty hard to take, especially not being able to say goodbye.
As said above, your job history now will be a great plus for you as you go out into the market. You have much more experience and are a stronger prospect for any employer. Hopefully you will land on your feet in an even better position.
Take a deep breath and go get em girl!
(Just remember, IT'S THEIR LOSS! - the fools).
Love, Debbie

Somewhere there is a company that really needs you, because you are a good, hardworking and loyal person. The hard part is finding that company...my money is on you Meghan! I hope your job search is quick and fruitful!
