Happy birthday and welcome to the Half Century Club!!! Impossible to believe, but it must be true. My memory of the happy day was that Debbie and I just laughed and laughed with joy, and then raced to the phone to call our friends!!! What a happy memory. And you know what, you still make us laugh and laugh with joy!!!! Happy birthday sis! We love you!!!!!!!!

And yes, this was the happiest day when you were born. We were ecstatic! Mom was so proud of her perfect little girl - with perfect eyebrows. (Just look at that picture!)
Joannie and I were over the top thrilled (though they wouldn't let us in to see you -agony) Dad held you up to the window so we could wave at you, but we could barely see you. I'm sure that you DID have perfect eyebrows though.
I learned my multiplication tables in the car while we waited for Dad. Joannie must have helped me. Do you remember that Joannie? (and I still know them -I think)
Strange what we remember. . .
HAPPY HAPPY DAY! Are you really 50? WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO - HAVE YOU DONE - for this momentous occasion?
