SUCCESS! for my Caution Lights

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flat tires called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success. From WGPC October Newsletter.

  • Does this mean we have to "flash" in order to be successful? Could be a lot of fun!

  • Did i miss something? What is this all about?

  • It's just a silly play on words that is supposed to inspire you to look at life from a different perspective, (using driving and road metaphors) I thought that you, my loving sisters, truly are the caution lights in the long adventurous road that is my life.

There are probably more important things I could have posted about...but Maggie has been upright ALL DAY!!!

  • Oh I got it, I was just a little concerned about Jesus being the driver. I like to think of him more as a road map, or fuel. Whatever.

As to the flashing. . . I'm too old. . . We could be "the Brights" - used only when it's really dark and no one else is around. . . .

    Love ya, Deboe

P.S. If they keep leaving these pitchers in I'm going to kill someone

  • I got it! "Jesus is my co-pilot!" Well, I think even better, he is my driving instructor. Sure hope I pass the test! And never forget, "in case of Rapture, this automobile will be un-manned" or un-womaned. Also, "Drop kick me Jesus, Through the Goalposts of Life!" That should cover me for a while, I hope!

Sorry it didn't help the Brewers, Deb!
